Since most yards are not completely level, we made sure everything was as square as possible to prevent any misalignment issues. One thing I did to help speed the assembly was I organized the screws, bolts and washers by size smallest to largest and all of the board pieces so we weren’t digging through the boxes. I would gather the pieces and parts for the next step while my husband was assembling the previous step. This set came in 3 boxes. Also, the instructions do recommend sealing the wood so we bought Thompson water sealer and sealed it. It made the wood colors more vibrant and will help the set last longer.
